Hello

and ...

Welcome, to the corner of the internet where Korvus attempts to make sense of the thoughts swirling inside his head. Yes, it's therapy. But it's also in the name of writing.

Korvus

I could begin with some blurb about being a bestselling author, which, technically I am, but the bestselling aspect can largely be credited to the Amazon marketing team. The quality of the story may have added some momentum and, of course, helped earn it the runners up prize for Kindle Fiction of the year.

This Site

That said, this site focuses on my journey as a writer rather than the promotion of my finished works. If you're interested in reading my previously published books and stories for free, or perhaps even buying them, then head over to: josskorvus.com I'm going to be building both these sites for a while, and then updating frequently, so revisit often.

Writing Journey

Here, we are all about the journey. This site will contain examples of works in progress, entertainment reviews, general thoughts on the writing struggle, and a detailed and evolving breakdown of story structure I call story elements. The site will also contain good learning examples for the elements plucked from commercial entertainment. There is also links to my occasional monotone discourses about story on YouTube.

About writing

As a writer I find so many writing sites are seldom about writing. This site is only ever about writing and what I learn as I fathom how to create better entertainment.

PS

It will also be about indie publishing. We'll get to that too, at some point.
